I like the piece. It looks great on my F150. It’s well made and sturdy. But there are some quality control, hardware and packaging issues, and a design flaw (IMO).
1. The hardware issue is with those horrible allen key bolts used for securing the unit to the truck bed. I ended up buying hex head bolts because trying to tighten those included bolts was not fun.
2. The quality control issue I had was with the smaller decorative bolts on the side..half of them were twice as long as the others … for NO apparent reason from what I could see.
3. The main issue I had was with the packaging. While it arrived in what appeared to be ok condition, when I opened it I found a number of gouges in the finish as well as one corner of the third brake light housing was deformed. I ended up having to scotchbrite the entire piece and spraying it with truckbed coating to get the finish uniform. The deformed corner of the housing I couldn’t fix, so I guess I just have to deal with it.
4. Lastly, what I call a design flaw. I feel there should be holes drilled to allow the wires for the brake light and other lighting to be routed through the bars instead of having to zip tie them to the outside… would look much cleaner.
This thing is amazing get so many compliments on it I love it.... the not only bolted it down they welded it to the truck as well...
I absolutely love this rack. Mine came with the rear pod lights, not all of them do. Installation will require some drilling and special tools but once it’s complete and you’ve hooked all the lights up, you will absolutely love it. I am still able to fold up my hard tonneau cover two folds, not the full folds but it works for me. Wish I could post up pictures because this thing looks amazing!

I absolutely love this rack. Mine came with the rear pod lights, not all of them do.
